Axe My Insurance Bill is a digital insurance comparison engine. You tell us about your vehicle, your driving history and the coverage you are looking for, and we pass that to licensed carrier and agency partners who are able to write business in your state. What comes back is theirs to offer and yours to accept or ignore.

What we are not

We are not an insurance company. We do not underwrite policies, set premiums, issue documents or decide claims. Every quote, every price and every coverage decision belongs to the licensed carrier or agency making it, and any policy you buy is a contract between you and them.

How we are paid

Using the site costs you nothing. We are paid by the partners we work with when we introduce a prospective customer to them. That compensation may affect which partners you are matched with and the order in which offers are presented. It does not change the premium a partner quotes you, and we are not paid more for a more expensive policy.

We do not present our matches as an exhaustive survey of the market. There are insurers who do not work with comparison services at all, and their prices will not appear here.

Coverage varies by state

Auto insurance is regulated state by state. The coverage you are required to carry, the way injury claims are settled, and the rating factors an insurer is permitted to use all differ across state lines. Two people with identical records can be quoted very different figures for that reason alone.
