Privacy policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
This policy explains what Axe My Insurance Bill collects when you use this site, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It applies to axemyinsurancebill.com and the quote form reached from it.
Information you give us
To return quotes we ask for information about you, your vehicle and your driving history. Depending on how far you go through the form that can include your name, postal address, ZIP code, email address, telephone number, date of birth, marital status, vehicles you own or lease, your current coverage, and your claims and violations history.
You do not have to give us any of it. If you stop before the end of the form, you will not be matched with anyone.
Information collected automatically
When you request a page our hosting and security providers record standard technical information: the IP address making the request, the browser and operating system it reports, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. We use approximate location derived from your IP address to show state-relevant content.
Cookies and similar technology
We use cookies and similar local storage so the form remembers your answers between steps, to understand how the site is used, and to measure which advertising brings people here. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the form may stop working correctly if you do.
Who we share it with
This is the part worth reading. When you submit the quote form, the information you provided is shared with licensed insurance carriers, agencies and marketing partners so they can prepare quotes and contact you about coverage. That is the purpose of the service, and it is how we are paid.
We also share information with service providers acting on our behalf — hosting, form processing, analytics, fraud prevention and communications — and we may disclose information where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Once a partner receives your information, their own privacy policy governs what they do with it. We do not control their retention, their marketing or who they share it with in turn.
Calls, texts and consent
By submitting the form and agreeing to the consent language shown on it, you authorize the partners identified there to contact you at the telephone number you provided — including by automated dialling, pre-recorded or artificial voice, and SMS — even if that number is on a federal or state do-not-call list. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. That consent is not a condition of purchasing anything.
You can withdraw it at any time: reply STOP to a text, tell a caller to stop calling, or write to us using the details on our contact page. Withdrawing consent with us does not automatically withdraw it with a partner you have already been matched with — you may need to tell them directly.
Retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed for the purposes described here and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete it or aggregate it so it no longer identifies you. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period for security and operational reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for advertising purposes. Residents of California and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute. To exercise any of them, write to us via the contact page and tell us what you are asking for. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
